I get this is speculation on my part, but I'm going to lay out the evidence that Top Golf is coming to the Treasure Valley and then you can decide for yourself.

The 52-acres that sit along Eagle Road, right next to I-84, where Farmstead used to set up shop is being developed in part by Tommy Ahlquist, who recently ran for Governor here in Idaho through Ball Ventures Ahlquist.

He says in an article on KTVB that Eagle View Plaza will consist of "office buildings, Idaho Central Credit Union, a hotel, medical office, retail, restaurants, and entertainment options."

Mentioned in those entertainment options, Ahlquist says it could include a "golf entertainment facility." The only establishment that I can think of that would fit that bill is a Top Golf.

If you've never been to Top Golf, which is located in major cities such as Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Salt Lake City, it consists of bays where up to six people can golf onto a huge field while playing various golfing games. It's super fun to play whether you're good at golf or not. They have food and drinks and even alcoholic beverages on the top level.

I would love to see this come to the Treasure Valley. It's fun for families, dates, get-togethers with friends and family, company parties, and just to burn off a little steam.

So am I reading you right Tommy Ahlquist? Is a Top Golf of Meridian in the works? What do you think?
