Take Back the Cashews!

Trader Joe's is conducting a major recall on cashews. Did you buy any of the tainted nuts?

First off, let me say that Trader Joe's is one of my favorite stores in the whole world. Their cookie butter is to die for and their wine selection is top notch, but once in a while a recall is going to happen with any store.

Trader Joe's wants the public to know that they have recalled their bagged raw cashews with a "Best if Used By Date" of July 17, 2016 due to possible salmonella contamination. The Trader Joe's raw cashew pieces were sold in 31 states including here in Idaho.

Trader Joe's has removed all of the possibly tainted cashews from their store shelves, but if you have a bag be sure to throw them away or take them back to the store for a full refund. For additional information on this recall click HERE.
