They say "money can't buy happiness," but can it? According to a new study, there is a certain dollar amount we have to bring in here in Idaho in order to be "happy." Do you agree?

According to msn.com the minimum salary we need to make in the state of Idaho is $97,335 a year. That's the minimum we need to make.

It's a little crazy to me that we are at the point where we need to make nearly six figures to be "happy." It's a little crazy to me that six-figure salaries and half-a-million dollar homes are "normal."

I've had times in my life when I've had more money than at other times. It's a weight off your shoulders that is nice, but it never brought me true happiness. That sounds so cliche' but it's kind of true. Money is fun, but I hate putting a price on happiness. Even more so I hate when for so many that dream seems unattainable. We can't all be doctors and lawyers, right?!

This study shows that $97,335 correlates with emotional well-being and life-satisfaction. In my mind, those things come together when so many other things in life are in harmony. Remember, money is just icing on the cake.
