Despite heavy snow, supporters of the St. Jude Dream Home rallied at today’s groundbreaking ceremony in Eagle.

This morning was the official groundbreaking for the 2015 St. Jude Dream Home. The new home will be built in the Foxtail Estates Community on Chinden East of Linder.

Attendees of the groundbreaking included Joe Atalla, president of Berkeley Building Company, as well as a local St. Jude patient family. Local sponsors of the program include WOW Country 104.3, KTVB, Berkeley Building Company, Foxtail Estates developed by M3 Company, Eagle Magazine, and Epsilon Sigma Alpha.

The St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway is a 23-year tradition that is now one of the largest single-event fundraisers for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital nationwide. To date, more than 360 homes have been given away and nearly $300 million has been raised nationwide. This year marks the 10th annual campaign in the Treasure Valley.

Tickets for the 2015 St. Jude Dream Home will go on sale in April.
