Semi Flip Around Garrity on I-84

About 9:50 this morning a very bad accident just past the Garrity Boulevard exit on I-84 started with a patch of black ice.

The semi truck was struck by a pickup which eventually turned into the semi flipping over onto its side.  A BMW hit debris from the crash as well but nobody was injured in the pickup or the BMW.

The semi driver was rushed to the hospital.

Black Ice was the reason for the pickup losing control.  The woman driving the pickup has been cited for driving too fast.

Idaho State Patrol Troopers had most lanes back open by 10:30.
