You'll be able to see a tribute to all who have served flying through the skies of Boise soon as Alaska Airlines has designed a Boeing 737 with a "Salute the Troops" theme. The paint theme entitled "Honoring Those Who Serve" was the brain child of a group of Alaska Airlines maintenance technicians who in the beginning chronicled their ideas on a napkin.

Alaska Airlines announced via a news release that the plane is, "dedicated to the brave men and women of the U.S. military, as well as veterans of the armed forces and their families."

Among the plane's many patriotic elements is a quote from former President Calvin Coolidge which reads, "No person was ever honored for what they received. Honor is the reward for what they gave."
