A tragedy on Father's Day has the officials and volunteers combing the snake river looking for a 42 year old man who fell into the water.

The man fell out of his boat west of Parma just before noon on Sunday and he was immediately swept down stream.

According to KTVB the man and his boat were last seen floating toward Gold Island near the Nyssa Bridge. He was not wearing a life-jacket.

Rescuers and volunteers searched until nightfall yesterday and the search will resume this morning.

The man's identity has not been released, but we are crossing our fingers that by some chance he's found alive.
