School Bus Collides with Van in New Plymoth

A school bus accident is never good and unfortunately there were some injuries with this crash.

The crash happened just after 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon along State HWY 52 east of New Plymoth.

The bus headed east hit a van and the crash was hard enough that it knocked the bus off the road into a creek.

According to KTVB the only people injured in the crash were the driver of the Dodge Ram van who has been identified as 58 year old Margurite Lyons of Ontario and the driver of the bus, 63 year old John Fisher of New Plymoth.

The crash is still being investigated but luckily no children were injured.
