Saving Our Kids Is Up To You

I'm laying here in my bed, nervous, anxious, excited, wondering what will go down with the Wow Country Cares St Jude Radio-thon today.  Talking to girls like 13 year old Leia Luna of Boise this week who's literally on a hospital bed right now going through chemotherapy has  showed me how blessed I am.  I have 5 beautiful children who haven't had to face this demon yet.

When I think of all those precious souls being strolled around in little red wagons at St Jude Hospital I can't help but cheer up.  It's tragic, sad, and sometimes the grief is overwhelming.  But it's also courageous, inspiring, and miracles happen every single minute thanks to St Jude.

I don't know how things will go down today for our radio-thon... I can only hope that our listeners will open their hearts.  If I can hold it together enough on the radio while we broadcast for 12 straight hours, I'm sure you'll feel touched.  The most powerful radio you've ever heard is coming your way.  It will change you!
