1.28 acres of pure adrenaline is ready to go right here in our Boise backyard.

Rhodes Skatepark is getting a $1.25 million overhaul and the cool thing is, our Treasure Valley kids are the designers.  It'll feature inline skating and skateboarding and is located next to the Linen District in west downtown Boise.

The area is covered and lighted and kids of all ages can enjoy features like verts, rails, ramps, plus a full basketball court, restrooms, and picnic tables.

Back in 1992, former Ada County Highway Commissioner, Glen Rhodes started this dream after talking to lots of kids who kept getting run off by business owners.  The kids had no place to skate.  Over 150 contractors and two years later there was concrete, fencing, and everything needed for the kids to have a place of their own.
