Our long dry spell here in the Boise area is about to end.  Rain is in the forecast and it should last for a good two days or so.

Today it's sunny and warm with a high of 90 degrees but gradually that sunshine will disappear this week and turn into clouds, rain, and even lightning.  While the rain is good, we do not want anymore fires started by lightning so let's keep our fingers crossed.

The clouds roll in starting tomorrow with a small chance of rain and that chance increases Thursday and Friday to where it's almost certain we'll have rain.  Temperatures will also drop into the low 70's and high 60's and that's our high.

It looks as though our long, hot summer is just about over.  Temperatures over the next two weeks will reach a high of 60's and 70's.
