Three juveniles in a 1998 Toyota convertible ended up rolling in a deathly accident Thanksgiving afternoon near Mountain Home.

The identities of all three juveniles is confidential but we do know that the driver has been pronounced dead.  According to KTVB they were driving southbound on Simco Road at around milepost 14 yesterday afternoon at approximately 1:10.  The driver veered off to the right side of the road, over corrected, and flipped the vehicle multiple times.

When authorities showed up to the scene the driver was immediately air lifted to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise and was then pronounced dead.  The other two were taken by personal vehicles to the hospital.  No word on their condition yet.

Simco Road was blocked off for about three hours and the Idaho State Police are currently investigating.

When I was a teenager I remember jumping into cars with my buddies and safety was about the last thing we were thinking of.  This could've happened to anyone of our children, friends, or us ourselves.  My heart goes out to the parents and family of this child.  Thanksgiving will never be the same for them.  I only hope that through their challenges God will be able to give them something wonderful on the back side.  R.I.P. to this young person who is no longer with us.
