Off-Leash Program Coming To Ann Morrison Park

Have you ever noticed all that goose poo in Ann Morrison Park? Well, that's thanks to all those geese who make the park their home during the winter months. But, Boise Parks and Rec. are hoping to drive the birds away with off-leash dogs!Dogs will be allowed to be off-leash from Nov. 1 - February 28 in Ann Morrison Park from the fountain to the eastern edge of the park. This program has been the most effective plan against the geese. This January only 10 birds were counted in the park compared to 435 from the year before!

I'm sure Parks & Rec aren't going to be the only ones who are happy, I'm sure those pups are gonna have a good time chasin' those geese; but there are some off-leash rules they need to abide by.
