Your summer skinny dipping adventures have come to an end! Skinny Dipper Hot Springs is shutting down.

Over the last decade over 150 incidents have occurred at Skinny Dipper Hot Springs. The Bureau of Land Management says there are public health and safety issues from public nudity to drunkenness, assault and rape at the hot springs.

Skinny Dipper Hot Springs is located at mile marker four just off of Highway 17 in Boise County and health hazards are also an issue. Hypodermic needles, dirty diapers, and human waste have been found at the sight.

The hot springs will be shut down for the next 5 years while the BLM removes illegal piping and the illegal pools that have been established.

Anyone caught at Skinny Dipper Hot Springs after Tuesday will be fined $130.
