New Albertsons Marketplace in Meridian Announces Opening Date

I've been watching this store as it's taken shape over the past few months and now we are getting so close to having our very own Albertsons Marketplace in Meridian!!

Saturday, March 9th is the day! This isn't your average Albertsons, oh no! Here's what they have to offer.

• 10,000 square feet of space
• Similar to the Albertson's on Broadway in downtown Boise
• 1/3 larger than the Boise store
• Huge wine selection
• Lots of organic offerings
• A focus on local products
• Several in-store dining options

According to boisedev.com, the grand opening on March 9th will include samples, giveaways, wine & beer tasting, and entertainment.

If you've ever been to the Albertsons Marketplace on Broadway in Boise, you know how cool this store is going to be in Meridian and just the thought that it's going to be even bigger than the Boise store is pretty stinkin' cool.

If you're not familiar with where the new Albertsons Marketplace is located, it's being built in the former Shopko location on Fairview and Eagle Rd.

I am counting down the days until they open because this grocery store is going to be awesome!
