Nampa Police Need Help Finding For One Of The Most Evasive Suspects Ever
We're in 2024 and already police are looking for arguably, one of the most evasive suspects to ever elude police. What makes this even scarier, is that this suspect seems to have no care in the world about the law, law enforcement, and innocent bystanders.
Nampa police need our help bringing in a suspect
According to Nampa police, a suspect was spotted doing a wheelie on 16th Ave. S. in Nampa near 6th Street S.
"#CommunityCrimeFighters please help us identify this reckless driver before he kills himself or an innocent community member who crosses his path. That would be a terrible way to end the year!" Nampa police wrote in their post.
Nampa police describe the bike as being a "dirt bike type" with blue decals on the side. Police also say there was no license plate on the back and the the male rider was seen wearing a helmet, gray sweatshirt, and a black backpack.
It appears police want to bring him in for reckless driving which could result in jail time depending on the severity of the offense. According to Idaho legislation, reckless driving is defined as:
Any person who drives or is in actual physical control of any vehicle upon a highway, or upon public or private property open to public use, carelessly and heedlessly or without due caution and circumspection, and at a speed or in a manner as to endanger or be likely to endanger any person or property, or who passes when there is a line in his lane indicating a sight distance restriction, shall be guilty of reckless driving
The first-time punishment is a misdemeanor but could result in jail for up to six months with a fine of up to $1,000 according to Idaho legislation.
Nampa police also shared in their post that when they attempted to pull the biker over, "he recklessly fled, again endangering others."
That's what makes this so terrifying, police have no idea who this person is, he can clearly evade police, and we may not know who it is until it's too late.
If you have any information on who this person is, you're encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 208-373-COPS, contact Nampa police on social media, or leave a tip at www.343.cops.com.
