Rick and I had the opportunity to host the 61st annual Steak Fry in Nampa last night!

The Steak Fry is the kick off to the infamous Snake River Stampede and it's been going strong since 1955!

Over 800 people turned out to dine on steak, taters, salad, burgers, corn, and ice-cream and proceeds benefit the Nampa Kwanis club which in turn benefits local children's programs such as the Girls and Boys Club.

Folks enjoyed the sounds of the "Country Gold" band and some scored tickets to the Rodeo for answering fun little trivia questions about Nampa.

On the outskirts there was face painting, roping, and even the Nampa Fire Department turned out to show their support!

It was such a cool event to be a part of. I love watching a community come together to celebrate and do some good year after year.
