Nampa Man Impregnates 13-Year-Old Girl and Goes To Jail

28-year-old David Michael Arquette was just sentenced to 20 years in prison for having sexual relationships with a 13-year-old girl and getting her pregnant.

Arquette proposed to the girl after only a few weeks so that she would have sex with him.  Shortly after that she became pregnant and he asked her to lie and say she was 18 to friends and family so he wouldn't get into any legal trouble.

Arquett was excited when she became pregnant but not so excited when the authorities found out.  He still believes he's in a relationship with the young girl and plans to pursue that relationship when he's out of prison.

He's been ordered to register as a sex offender and to have no contact with the victim or any other underage girl for his entire 20 year sentence.
