My Kid May Be A Math Genius

Math is hard.  I never knew how much I didn't know until my 8 year old started bringing home math homework.

Let me repeat that... she's 8 years old and is bringing home math homework!  Sheesh.

Right now Tess is working on estimation and word problems. As part of her homework, she had to create a word problem.  Here's what she came up with:

I'm not sure if she has a future in math, but I do suspect we'll see her on "Hoarders" one day.
