A tragic accident in Fruitland, Idaho where a 60-year-old man was trapped alive underneath a large piece of metal has ended in the worst of ways.  The man's identity has not been released yet so that authorities have time to properly notify family and friends of the situation.  He was alive and breathing when emergency responders showed up and everything possible was done to save this man's life but it just wasn't enough.

According to KTVB, the accident took place this morning just before 10 o'clock.  Officers and paramedics were called out to Woodgrain Millwork on 16th Street where they found the man and every (and I do mean EVERY) possible life-saving effort was made.  The man was quickly rushed to St. Luke's Hospital in Fruitland but it was just too little too late.  Soon after arriving at the hospital he passed away from injuries sustained.

It's easy for us to see this story, feel bad and then move on with our day but there's a family out there right now, in our community, mourning the loss of someone who was special to them.  Probably a brother, a father, a grandfather.  A man, who like all of us has a story.  A story of kindness, greatness and a story of making a difference in a world that needs it.  I can't imagine how difficult it is today for this family and for those that were close to this man.  My heart feels for you and I'm so sorry for your loss.  May he Rest In Peace.
