Meridian Woman Killed in Murder-Suicide

It's a sad day for this Meridian family after a man and his girlfriend were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide.  

Meridian Police were called to a woman's home last night at about 5:30 on Italy Street.

Inside they found 65 year old Joy L. Frizzel woman dead in her bed. Police were led to her home after her boyfriend was found dead. As police were investigating his death his family suggested they perform a well check on his girlfriend according to KTVB.

The Ada County Coroner's Office says Frissel died from multiple stab wounds to the chest and her dead is being reported as a suspected murder-suicide.

As I've said, it is always particularly tragic to loose someone around the holidays and our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by these deaths.
