A fatal car crash has turned into manslaughter charges for one woman in Meridian.

52 year old Shelly Wilson is facing some very serious charges after she rear-ended 73 year old Patricia Ann Shannon Thursday. Shannon died from the crash, that also involved two other vehicles and now authorities are officially charging Wilson with manslaughter because of the crash.

Shannon's Buick was stopped on Fairview just east of Eagle Rd and according to the Idaho Statesman there isn't any indication that Wilson slowed down or stopped before slamming into the back of the Buick.

No word yet on what these charges could mean for Wilson and the rest of her life.
