After 40 years of friendship and a 500-mile pilgrimage across Spain, these Treasure Valley buddies are sharing their story.

Justin Skeesuck saw a documentary about a 500-mile pilgrimage in Spain. He was inspired to make the trek, but having a neuromuscular disease that left him without the ability to use his arms and legs, he asked his friend of over 40 years, Patrick Gray, to help him out.

According to KTVB, the pair made their way to Spain in 2014 and 35 days later they finished the 500-mile journey.

They have a documentary film about their time in Spain that will be released this fall, but in the meantime, you can read about their story and friendship with their new project.

After many people asked the duo to share their story, they decided it was time to write a book to tell it all.

Their book-appropriately named-, "I'll Push You" is available now and the duo will be talking about their journey and offering a free book signing at Barnes & Noble on Milwaukee in Boise today (6/15) at 7p.
