Man Trying to Lure Kids with Candy in Boise

Parents warn your children. This man tried to lure kids with candy at Simplot Sports Complex. 

It happened about 7:30 p.m. on Monday night near field 3. According to KTVB when two young children were away from their parents a man allegedly approached them and started talking to them. He gave them candy and then seemed to be startled when the parents approached.

The man has not technically done anything illegal, but police do want the public to be aware of the situation.

The man is described as 5'11" with a slim build and 150 lbs. He was wearing a blue jacket with cream colored sleeves, darker, khaki colored, tactical style cargo pants. He was also carrying a dark duffel bag.

Being aware and reporting situations that just feel wrong is one step closer to having a safer community. Hopefully, this was an innocent situation, but if not let's get this guy off the streets before something goes really wrong.
