Man Jumps Into Boise River

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT jump into the Boise River!! This guy is lucky to be alive!

Early Sunday morning the Police in Star and Eagle started receiving tweets that man had decided to "jump in and swim around." I don't know if he did this on a bet, or he just wanted some crazy adventure, but it is a deadly idea.

The man has not been identified, but according to KTVB, when authorities found him he was clinging to the brush on the side of the riverbank. Luckily, they were able to get him out and he is safe and sound.

Let this story serve as a warning though to stay out of the water! The Boise River is running particularly high and fast this spring and the water is bone chilling cold.

Please warn your children and all of your loved ones to stay far away from the river. It is not worth the risk!
