If you saw major traffic on the I-184 connector near downtown Boise last night around 6:30 p.m it was because one of the craziest, horrific accidents took place which ended up taking the life of one man riding a 2013 BMW S1000RR sportbike.

The man's name was Seth Wilson.  He was 39-years-old and ended up crashing in one of the worst of ways that most of us freak out about even thinking of.  He lost control, hit the barrier and flew off the side which sent him flying down off the bridge and onto South 16th Street below, near Rhodes Skate Park.

The eastbound and westbound lanes of I-184 near mile marker four have a gap in between leaving nothing but a huge drop to the bottom.  KTVB reports that Seth was wearing a helmet but a helmet is not going to save you from a drop like that.  Thoughts and prayers go out to Seth's family.
