21-year-old Abel Enrique Garcia escaped the Canyon County Jail by jumping over the fence during his evening outdoor recreation.

Authorities have taken Garcia back into custody without incident.  After he jumped the fence he left in a vehicle driven by 41-year-old Bobby Jo Guevara who was waiting for his escape.  Guevara was also arrested for assisting an escape and resisting and obstructing officers.

Garcia was found in Emmett on Monday evening by the U.S. Marshall's Greater Idaho Fugitive Task Force.  Garcia will now face additional charges for his escape and for carrying a concealed weapon without a permit, burglary, and bond revocation.
