A park in Boise has been renamed to honor Olympic Cyclist Kristin Armstrong. 

 

She made Boise proud at the 2016 Summer games in Rio, now a park has been named after the 3 time Olympic gold medalist.

 

According to KTVB, "Kristin Armstrong Municipal Park" was celebrated today between 1 pm - 4 pm and those who attended had the opportunity to meet Kristin, enjoy great food, and play games. If you hurry you can still get in on the celebration at 500 S. Walnut St. in Boise.

 

Kristin Armstrong is the first woman ever to win the Olympic gold medal three times in the same individual event in three different Olympic games.
