Kane Brown found his own little slice of paradise in his latest single, "Heaven," as it hits No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart. It's Brown's second No. 1, after his duet with Lauren Alaina "What Ifs" topped the charts for five weeks in 2017.

"I think we always knew something about this song ["Heaven"] was special, especially hearing the fan reaction when we play it live, but to have it go to No. 1 means so much," Brown says in an interview with Billboard. "This means the world to me."

"Heaven" was written by Blake Anthony Carter, Matthew McGinn and Lindsay Rimes and produced by the legendary Dan Huff. It's the fourth single from Brown's self-titled debut full-length, which debuted at the top of the charts and made him the most successful debut in two years.

Brown has been enjoying success both on and off the country music stage, as he announced his engagement to fellow musician Katelyn Jae in April of 2017, and was nominated for New Male Vocalist of the Year in both 2017 and 2018 at the ACMs. He is also a passionate advocate for people who struggle due to the rental housing crisis: In 2017, Brown addressed the U.S. Senate at a congressional hearing to talk to lawmakers about the plight of low-income families struggling to find affordable housing, as well as to share his own experience of growing up in poverty in a family that struggled to make rent each month. More recently, Brown partnered with State Farm for the Neighborhood of Good project, which focuses on encouraging volunteerism within communities.
