Justice Finally Comes For This Caldwell City Man

Sometimes it takes days, weeks, even months before justice is served.  This guy's finally getting what he deserves.

Last summer 25-year-old Dakota Smith was booked into the Ada County Jail on DUI Manslaughter charges after being involved in a Garden City crash that ended up killing a passenger in his vehicle.  Smith was also charged with driving without privileges.  Not sure exactly what that means but I'm pretty sure he wasn't supposed to be behind the wheel at all.

Smith was driving when he crashed into a tree early morning time on July 1, 2016.  34-year-old Adrian Shaw was the passenger who ended not making it.  Shaw died on the scene of the accident.

Smith originally denied being the drive but after extensive investigating details have emerged that proves otherwise.  Smith has been proven guilty and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
