I ran into a friend of mine yesterday who lost 15 pounds in less than a month!  She shared with me her secret....

She's been doing this program called Ideal Protein.  (Now before you think this is some sort of sneaky way of doing an advertisement, I can assure you that it's not.  I'm in no way getting paid to endorse this weight loss plan, nor do I even know much about it....)

My friend said it's stupid-expensive; almost a hundred bucks per week!  She says it starts by a doctor putting you on a very restrictive high protein diet (their food).  Then you transition to making your own food (lots of eggs I guess...).  Meanwhile, they monitor you to make sure you're losing fat and not muscle.  Kind of sounds like a fad diet to me, but heck, if it works, it works I guess...

Have you tried the Ideal Protein diet?  Is it really the hot new way to lose weight that's sweeping the Valley or it it just a fad scam?
