Is He the One?!

Are you in a relationship and you're just not quite sure if he's the one? Ask yourself these questions and it may help clear your mind!

idiva.com has some great advice for figuring out if the guy you are dating is the guy you should marry. This can work for guys who are trying to figure out if their lady is the one as well.

• You have similar long-term goals. Do you both want kids? Do you want to buy a house or travel a lot? All of these things matter.
• You miss him or her when you are apart. Alone time is healthy, but if you find yourself missing that person in your life, that's a good sign he or she is a keeper.
• He doesn't try to change you. I personally think this is a biggie. You can only put on the "dating act" for so long. If he's not okay that you are messier than him, you love cats, or you can't cook to save your life, he's not the one for you. Remember, for the most part, people really don't change.
• When you think about marriage, the best part isn't the wedding. It's the idea of spending your lives together.
• You don't have to look nice for each other all the time. I think it's really important to want to look good for that person, but if you can't ever take your make-up off in front of him or hang out in your sweats, you aren't comfortable enough to be married to him.
• You're a good team. Yeah this may not be the most romantic part, but if he's the type of guy that will clean up after you make him dinner, or he takes care of the outside of the house while you take care of the inside, he's a keeper.
• You've survived tough times. Reality is it is not going to be about making out all the time. It's really important you can get through disagreements before you tie the knot.
• You can cry in front of him without feeling embarrassed. I also think it's really important that he can pick up on some of your signs that you are upset, sad, or needing to talk. I know, I know, guys have a hard time reading girls and vice versa, but he should be able to pick up on some signals.
