Getting sick is NOT fun and this past winter was one of the worst but now it's summer, and we're out of the woods right?  WRONG!  It's different, but it's nasty, it's vicious, very contagious, and it's right here in Idaho.

We can go on and on about the negatives of being sick.  The bathroom trips, the aches, the pains, the going into work because you feel guilty and then feeling guilty because everyone at work is giving you dirty looks for being there.  And if you have kids that get sick too, dealing with that is a whole different set of disasters you have to deal with.

I'm not going to sit here and pretend there's some kind of an upside and I'm not going to sugar coat it.  Idaho's been hit again and hit hard.  A virus began a couple of weeks ago that includes nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, and a fever.  I guess one positive is this thing lasts about two days only but it's VERY contagious meaning, if you get it, your entire family is likely to get it.  That generally stretches a couple days of hell into a couple weeks.

Just be aware.  Wash your hands a lot and make sure your kids are washing extensively.  If you happen to get the virus, stay home.  One of the reasons all of us got hit so hard this past winter was because everyone kept going to work and unintentionally handing off their virus to anyone and everyone they came into contact with.

Good luck.  I hope you don't get it but if you do, STAY AWAY!
