If you think Kuna and Kootenai are strange, check out these bizarre Idaho city names you've probably never even heard of!Rick and I have been here in the Treasure Valley for  five months now. We've learned how to pronounce Kootenai (Koo-tun-ee) and Kuna (It's KYOO-nuh not Koo-na.) There is also Coeur d'Alene (Cor De Laine) and Owyhee is (oh-WYE-hee) just like the island in Hawaii not (Owie like I have a bad "owie" on my knee!)

I thought I had it all down and I'd heard of all of the bizarre sounding cities in Idaho until I read this article. Here's some of the most bizarre sounding Idaho cities. Have you hear of them?

1. Shells Lick (It's in the Lewiston/Moscow area)

2. Slickpoo (Say what?! You're from Slickpoo, Idaho?!! This town really does exist in Lewis County)

3. Riddle (Now that's kind of fun. You can find Riddle, Idaho in the southwest corner of this great state.)

4. Dingle (Ok, now we are back to ridiculousness! Dingle, Idaho was possibly named after the sound of cow bells in the field.)

5. Ozone (It's just outside of Ammon, Idaho and was originally a stage coach stop.)

6. Beer Bottle Crossing (Sounds like a fun town to me!)

7. Santa (It is located up north, but Santa, Idaho is no where near the North Pole!)

8. Bone (It's one of the most heavily populated cities on this list, with a couple dozen residents)

9. Cabinet (After a major fire in 1910, little exits in this town besides a cemetery.)

10. Fish Haven ( Makes me want to dust my pole off and catch some fish! It's right on the Utah/Idaho border.)

Now I've got to check out all these crazy places!
