Federal Agency is on the path to sterilize wild horses on U.S. rangeland to slow the growth of herds.  And yes, that means Idaho!

 

Mustang advocates across the West are not happy with this.  The U.S. Bureau of Land Management says this is a $1 Billion problem.  Ranchers are trying to euthanize or slaughter these animals to make room for more roundups.

 

A hearing last night in Reno, Nevada highlighted a round-up and sterilization of every mustang in overpopulated herds.
