What started as an argument has led to the death of an Idaho man. It happened outside the bar in Hayden.

It happened in the early hours of this morning at the Tipsy Pine Bar. One moment everyone is having fun, and then before you can even wrap your mind around it a man pulls out a gun and shoots another man as the culmination of an argument gone terribly wrong.

The victim has been described as a 45-year-old man, but his identity has not been released. The suspected shooter is 33-year-old Scott White of Coeur d'Alene. He has been charged with second-degree murder according to kmvt.com.

After White and the victim got into a fight at the bar, witnesses say it escalated into the parking lot where the 45-year-old man was shot. Deputies found him lying in the parking lot and they say that after life-saving resuscitation was performed he later died at the hospital.

Please keep everyone involved in this tragedy in your thoughts and prayers. We'll keep you updated as this story develops.

Arguments should obviously never escalate to this. I think of my night at the Buffalo Club last night. The fun that was had, the carefree spirit on a night of freedom away from the daily grind and unfortunately for one man last night it was the last night of his life.
