Idaho ranks #2 in the nation for volunteer work!

The Corporation for National and Community Resource reports that we (Idaho) donate and estimated 51 million hours and $1.2 billion worth of service each year.

Doesn't surprise me.  Carly and I have been out doing as much as we can, especially this time of year, and we've run into so many great people sacrificing so much of their time and efforts to make sure others are taken care of.  So far we've had the opportunity to work with The Boise Rescue Mission (Homeless), The Buddy Walk (Down Syndrome), The Wyakin Warrior Foundation (Veterans), and more.

One of our favorite ways to give up a little time is once a week we visit local Elementary Schools and talk to kids.  Heck, we even get to make them radio super stars by putting them on the air.  They love that!

Good people is the #1 reason I decided to move my family to Boise, so this report doesn't surprise me at all.  I've never met people so friendly, caring, giving, and just all around COOL in all the right ways.  Thank you!
