Pavement rehabilitation is why you'll see the I-84 Connector shut down tonight through Sunday.

I don't know about you but it seems like a lot of road construction's being squeezed in before those Winter months hit here in the Treasure Valley.  None of those construction projects are as inconvenient as the work they're doing on the I-84 Connector.  I mean who doesn't use the connector?

Luckily it's just parts of the connector and huge props to the city for doing most of the work while we're all sleeping.  The Franklin Road off-ramp on westbound I-84 and the Cole Road on-ramp on the inbound I-84 connector will be closed Friday and Saturday.

Detours are in place and signs that are easy to read, understand and help get you to your destination.

The pavement rehabilitation is a huge project and will continue through the Fall so we'll keep you posted on specifics.

Now for the good news.  All construction will be done at night.  On weekdays it'll take place between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.  Friday night into Saturday it's 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.  And Saturday night into Sunday it's 10 p.m. to 9 a.m.
