The bones of two young people found in a badger hole in Elmore County may go back more than 500 years.

The testing done says the couple died sometime between 1436 and 1632.  A broad gap I know but Whoah... that's a long time ago.  When this story first broke most of us assumed these were bones from somebody that went missing recently or from some type of foul play.  That still may be the case but we're not even close to the same century from when their story unfolded.

The Elmore County Sheriff Department stated that both bodies were most likely in their twenties.  Originally reports stated that one of the bodies was probably a toddler.  That has proven to be unlikely.  The sexes or origins of the bodies is still unknown.  Testing continues in the laboratory.
