Summer started off very mild here in the Treasure Valley but, as usual, we've hit our share of smoking hot weather which is great for floating the river, hitting the water park, relaxing at Quinn's Pond and many other activities but it's not so great for people that work outdoors, air-condition units going out, getting ice cream home before it melts and a ton of other issues I seem to run into consistently.

So how hot is it going to be this week?  We've seen our share of triple-digit weather over the past couple of weeks but will it continue?  Do we get a break or will the scorching sun continue to beat us into those watery sanctuaries so many of us have been hitting?

While the sun will continue to shine and be hot as usual, according to Weather.com we will have zero 100 degree days this week.  Well, at least that's the prediction.  The next three days are supposed to be around 98 or 99 so those days definitely have a shot at it and hey, we cool down to 96 and 97 degrees for the weekend.

No rain predicted as of now so strap in and enjoy the sunshine.  See ya on the river.
