Horse Saved Off Idaho Cliff
This horse is lucky to be alive after falling and being stranded on a ledge.
The accident happened in the Blackrock Canyon Area south of Pocatello.
A draft horse weighing between 1,700 and 1,800 pounds had become stranded on a ledge after falling about 12 feet off a cliff. As you can imagine, horses aren't the most graceful tumblers, so he's incredibly lucky.
According to KTVB, construction workers used a backhoe to dump rocks and gravel into a crevice nearby and once the crevice was full the horse was able to climb out on his own.
The horse was uninjured for the most part and only received a few bumps and bruises. It's unclear exactly how long he was stuck on the ledge.
