Every day most of us take the needs on this list for granted. Today we have the opportunity to give back to those homeless in Boise.

Each day the Boise Rescue Mission provides shelter for an average of 400 people and they hand out about 1,100 meals per day.

Every single person who is homeless has a story. Today during "Hope for the Holidays" we met Andrew who was homeless many times as a child and then he ended up homeless again after serving our country for 6 years. Today, thanks to a little generosity, he is a software engineer and he's the one giving back.

Then we met Kat. You can read her story HERE. She's homeless, and has been living in her car with her husband and two dogs. Through a little help, she walked out of here with a potential job offer that could give her a fresh start.

It's estimated that currently there are around 2,000 homeless people here in the Treasure Valley.

Let today be the day that you do some good.
