1. Boise was the capitol before Idaho was even a state!

2. The Idaho State Capitol Building is the only in the U.S. that is heated geothermally.

3. The first potato came to Idaho to in 1836 to help the native Nez Perce Indians produce their own food.

4. Idaho has over 107,000 miles of rivers!! In fact, Idaho has the most waterway miles out of any of the lower 48 states. 

5. Idaho was originally the shape of a rectangle and took in parts of Montana and Wyoming.

6. If all of Idaho's Mountains were rolled out, we'd be the largest state!
