The historic downtown Boise Sonna building on the northwest corner of 9th and Main Street caught fire.

It only took our Boise Fire Department 3 minutes to get there, locked and loaded, ready to go.  By that time the sprinklers had gone off and put the fire. out.  Battalion Chief Tom Pawek says the fire started in the Main Street Deli.  There's smoke damage throughout the 130 year old three-story building but without the automatic sprinklers, the damage would've been significantly worse.

The fire set off last night around 6:30.  It was unoccupied at the time which means nobody was hurt or injured.  The Boise Fire Department is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
