The 100 Deadly Days of Summer continues as a crash on I-84 in Burley claims the life of a man from Idaho Falls. 

54-year-old Woody Clifford was headed eastbound along I-84 on Friday at about 5 p.m.when approaching mile marker 217 he failed to stop and rear-ended a semi. The 2004 Peterbuilt truck was being driven by 58-year-old Lionel Vaughn, and when Clifford's 2016 Jeep Patriot hit from behind there was a chain reaction and his Jeep was hit from behind by a 2005 Toyota van driven by 42-year-old Troy Degraff of Folsom, California.

The crash sent the semi into the median and caused Clifford Jeep and Degraff's van to flip. Clifford's Jeep then caught fire according to KTVB and Clifford died at the scene.

Despite everyone involved in the crash wearing seatbelts, Degraff and the five passengers he had in his van were taken to the hospital in Burley. Their conditions are unknown at this time.

Meanwhile, Vaughn, who was driving the semi was not hospitalized.
