Fatal Accident on I-84 Kills Two From Mountain Home

A man and a woman from Mountain Home have lost their lives this afternoon after a fatal accident on I-84. 

It happened about noon near the Sand Hollow exit.

According to KTVB, 42-year-old Christopher Pierpont was driving a 2007 Yamaha motorcycle while 43-year-old Christine Pierpont was riding on the back. He hit a construction barrel and that's when it all went wrong.

Christopher lost control, both flew off the motorcycle and they died at the scene. It's a horrible reminder of how fragile life is and how it can all be over in an instance.

Both Christopher and Christine were wearing helmets.
