Every Parents Worst Nightmare

I can not think of a sadder scenario. A father in Caldwell accidentally ran over his own son last night. 

The tragic accident happened about 7:45 pm at a home just outside of Caldwell along Barrett View Circle.

29 year old Todd Squires was leaving the home in his pickup truck when his 18 month old son suddenly ran behind his vehicle.

According to KTVB, the boys Mother tried to warn Todd that the boy was behind him, but he didn't hear her screams.

Mick Squires was rushed to the hospital, but died from his injuries.

Our thoughts and prayers are certainly with the Squires family this morning.
