Eight different cars involved in a pile up on I-84 in Nampa this afternoon.

It all started around 2:15 this afternoon with a two car collision that snowballed into six other cars losing control and colliding as well.  One elderly female has been transported to the hospital for chest pains.  Other than that, thankfully, nobody was hurt.

Nampa Police along with Idaho State Troopers responded to the scene and say the chain reaction started because of negligence.  Not paying attention to the cars in front of them.  Eastbound lanes were closed allowing only one lane for commuters near the eastbound off ramp for Franklin Blvd but all lanes are now open.
