Driver Identified in Series of Hit and Run Wrecks

This guy is in a whole heap of trouble. He's being charged with a DUI and was the man behind the wheel during a string of hit-and-run accidents Tuesday morning. 

20-year-old Daniel C. Edison of Nampa is recovering at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise because he was injured in his final crash.

According to KTVB, he has not been arrested yet, but you can trust that's in the cards. He is currently in fair condition. We don't have any specifics as to what his injuries are.

His string of hit-and-run accidents happened at the connector of I-84 and Linder, I-84 and Meridian Road, Franklin and Eagle, and finally, it ended with a multiple car wreck where Edison was injured at Cole and Emerald just after 7 a.m.

The crash was so bad that Edison and his female passenger had to be cut from the wreckage. No word yet if she had any involvement in the other accidents. Three other people were hurt in that final crash.

Even though he is only 20-years-old, this certainly is not the first time Daniel has been in trouble with the law. He has an extensive history of driving violations that include inattentive driving, speeding, driving without a license, driving without insurance, tailgating, and driving a vehicle without the owner's consent. Aside from all the driving issues, he has been in trouble for eluding the police, drug possession, and theft.
