More than 40 dead geese and ducks have been found in Kuna.  It's one thing to find them scattered through their natural habitat which usually means some kind of poisoning or natural form of death but these animals were all dumped into the same area which leads investigators to believe there's probably foul play involved.

The investigation is spear headed by The Idaho Fish and Game who say the birds were found near Kuna Butte.  Nine dead geese and ducks were found dumped along Swans Road on January 19 and now 31 dead Canadian geese were found piled up on February 5 in the exact same area.

No meat was taken off the dead birds meaning they were shot for sport only and the dead carcasses were left to rot and waste.  According to KTVB, Idaho state law states that at least the breast meat must be removed from harvested water fowls.  If you have any information please contact the Citizens Against Poaching hotline at 1-800-632-5999, or reach out to the Fish and Game Nampa office, Idaho State Police or the Ada County Sheriff's Office.
